The veteran Breton Nationalist, Yann Fouéré, celebrated his 100th birthday this week.

Yann was a founder member of the Celtic League when it was established in 1961 along with fellow Breton, Alan Heusaff, and also distinguished Welsh Nationalists figures such as, Gwynfor Evans, and J E Jones.

Yann was born on the 26th of July 1910 and a very comprehensive account of his contribution to both the Breton and inter-celtic movement can be found at the web site of the Yann Fouéré foundation (the site is in English and French) link below:
