NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE

Following the decision of the DHSC to continue a ward closure at Nobles Hospital I have written addressing several queries about current hospital services (see below):

Re: Hospital Services – IOM Hospital

How many hospital consultants’ appointments have had to be cancelled in the last six months?

How many hospital operations have been cancelled in the last six months?

How often have patients needed to be moved between wards, between to the hours of eight pm and eight am to accommodate bed shortages in the past six month.

How many persons still requiring care have been discharged to private nursing homes?

Do staffing levels on all wards and in all clinical areas currently enjoy a full establishment?

Has any treatment to patients had to be deferred because of staff shortages?

Yours sincerely
